Fake Prescription Pills On The Rise, Drug Enforcement Administration Says

The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) says it's seeing an increase in fake prescription pills that contain fentanyl and meth. The DEA says it's seized nearly 10 million counterfeit pills across the country so far in 2021.

The Drug Enforcement Administration said it's seeing an increase in fake prescription pills that contain fentanyl and meth.

The DEA said it's seized nearly 10 million counterfeit pills across the country so far in 2021.

That totals more than the last two years combined.

Agents said fake pills are illegal, dangerous and kill people.
