Owasso Woman Delivers 1,800 Donated Toiletries To Afghan Refugees

An Owasso mom said, thanks to the community’s generosity, she was able to take nearly 1,800 toiletries and personal care items to Afghan refugees who just arrived in Oklahoma.

An Owasso mom said, thanks to the community’s generosity, she was able to take nearly 1,800 toiletries and personal care items to Afghan refugees who just arrived in Oklahoma.

Alyssa McClellan drove the items to Oklahoma City Friday.

Nearly 2,000 Afghan refugees will start their new lives in the Sooner state.
