Family Mourns Father Of 3 Hit, Killed By Car While Leaving Tulsa State Fair

Family members said Jose Luis Gutierrez was the man hit and killed by a car while leaving the Tulsa State Fair this weekend.

His daughter, Sonia, said Gutierrez was a hard-working father of three, with a great sense of humor and who could make friends with anybody.

She said the whole family is still grappling with the sudden and heartbreaking loss.

Gutierrez was killed while crossing 15th street Sunday night. Police said the driver was driving the speed limit and the area was poorly lit.
