New Statistics Show ACT Average Scores Increased While Participation Decreased

Newly released data is showing some alarming figures about standardized test scores across Oklahoma.

The average ACT score showed a one-point increase for an average score of 20.3, but exam participation dropped down 58 percent.

In the previous years, participation was 100 percent and the decrease comes after public testing sites were shut down during the pandemic and state funding for testing was cut.
