The GRDA is investigating the cause of a fire that broke out at its main power plant located just East of Chouteau.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the GRDA says it is glad that no one was seriously hurt.
Officials told News On 6 that the Unit 3 generator in the GRDA's facility in Chouteau caught on fire.

The Energy Center is GRDA's main power plant and is located near the southern edge of the MidAmerica Industrial Park.
All personnel have been accounted for and there were no reported injuries from the incident.
GRDA also said the fire is not impacting service to any customers.
Justin Alberty with GRDA said they still don't know the full extent of the damage caused by the fire and hope to learn more this morning.
"GRDA will be conducting a full assessment of the fire's origin and the scope of any damage of Unit 3," Alberty said. "But this will not be known until the unit becomes safe to enter."
