Tulsa police arrested a teenager who they said is connected to a deadly shooting over the weekend.
Tulsa Police are still looking to talk to a few more witnesses about the deadly shooting and said the witnesses they have talked to so far have been cooperative.
Police said 17-year-old Sebastian Venegas got into an argument with another man at a party and shot him around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
Venegas turned himself into police on Sunday.
The victim's name has not been released while police work to notify his family.
Lt. Brandon Watkins explained the shooting happened near 21st and I-44, several miles from where police were later called to because the victim's friends drove him away from the scene.
"They were trying to take him to the hospital but they got lost and ended up near 21st and Main where they eventually just called 911 and officers came out and unfortunately the guy died at the hospital,” Watkins said.
Watkins said the suspect is expected to face a manslaughter charge because the two were fighting, but said the DA could always amend that charge if needed.
