Owasso Man In Custody, Accused Of Leading Police On Stolen Vehicle Chase

The Owasso Police Department has arrested a man accused of leading officers on a chase in a stolen SUV.

According to OPD, officers tried to stop the driver at 116th and Highway 169 but he would not stop. Police say the driver went off the road after officers deployed stop sticks. After coming to a stop police say he tried to ditch the car and run away but Owasso police were able to use the Tulsa Police Department's helicopter and police dog to find him.

The suspect in this chase has not yet been identified.
