The Marine Corps Reserve unit in Broken Arrow is kicking off the 74th Marine Toys for Tots Campaign.
The campaign helps hundreds of families put toys under the tree for Christmas.
Starting on Wednesday, families who are pre-registered can pick up their toys.
The Marine Corps Reserve unit in Broken Arrow is expected to give out thousands of toys over the next three days.
The distribution spot is at the Broken Arrow Reserve Center at 101st and South 257th East Avenue and will be held as a drive-thru method.
Because so many people are taking part in this event, organizers say the line of cars will stretch into Coweta city limits.
Coweta Police wants drivers to pack their patience over the next couple of days because the toy distribution will impact traffic flow on about a dozen streets, including State Highway 51.
Families who are picking up toys on Wednesday are encouraged to stay in their cars and bring a valid ID and proof of government assistance.
The Corps Reserve will start handing out toys at 9 a.m. and designate the last person in line at 5 p.m.
Police say it will take another four hours after that to clear the line of cars.
