Muskogee Small Business Looking To Hire Truck Drivers

A small business in Muskogee says it wants to double in size and is looking to hire truck drivers.

ID Transportation started in 2018 with just one driver and has grown to 18 drivers.

Every driver starts with an $80,000 salary, and seven weeks of paid vacation a year.

The owner says one thing that sets them apart is that drivers still get paid even if their truck is getting repaired.

"For us it creates a safer driver. We're not ever worried about our driver, driving with a truck that should be in the shop, because they're afraid to leave that paycheck. They know that they have security and they're gonna make the same paycheck every week, even if they're broke down," said ID Transportation owner Mack Parks.

The company is looking to hire 18 more drivers over the next year.
