Youth Services of Tulsa serves over 18,000 to 20,000 kids every year between the ages of 12 and 24.

Brian Young with Youth Services says the gifts of hope program gives young people in need by giving them things like shoes, clothing, and jackets.

“We really appreciate the community’s involvement and making sure those people’s basic needs are taken care of and enjoy the holiday spirit like everybody else," said Young.

The Gifts of Hope program works by pairing donors with youth and 400 young people were given gifts for the holiday. Young says sometimes a gift as simple as a skateboard can change a young person’s life.

To donate go to the Youth Services of Tulsa website at yst.org or donate by phone at 918-582-0061 and mailing address at 311 S. Madison Ave.
