COVID-19 Testing Sites In Oklahoma See Surge In Demand Ahead Of Christmas

COVID testing is in demand.

Axis in Bixby says on Wednesday alone, about 200 people came to get tested for the virus.

 Krista N’Gom with Axis healthcare says patients typically get results within 5 to 8 hours after their test. 

“One of the things that we are really excited about is the same-day results. A lot of PCR testing right now with other companies are taking 3 to 5 days, Our staff is working really hard and really tirelessly to help these patients and I can’t tell you how thankful our patients to be able to get those results quickly so they can head to their family gatherings”, said Krista N’GOM, Marketing, and Development Coordinator, Axis Healthcare.

The marketing development director says no appointments are necessary, and testing is free.
