Venues Around Tulsa Ready For New Year's Parties

Events are happening across Green Country tomorrow to ring in the new year.

If you're looking for a plan, there are lots of unique ways to celebrate.

Two events are going on tomorrow at SKATES, a family-owned roller-skating rink.

There's one during the day for the kids with an indoor snowball fight and games like limbo and red-light green-light.

The evening event for teenagers and older will have a balloon drop at midnight, along with games, prizes, and giveaways.

From concerts and parties at local casinos to running a 5K to "Race into the New Year,” there's no shortage of festivities.

Many events require tickets, but the party at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel is free.

You can even do a unique activity like ax throwing in Owasso, bowling at Andy Bs in Tulsa or of course, roller skating.

"Our late skates and all-night skates for New Year's have been going on for 20 years. But we've been doing this year at SKATES for 15 years,” SKATES Owner Court Collier said. "Every year we do it and it's just something we look forward to."

Tickets are on sale at the door and Collier says there's no limit.
