Wagoner County Deputy Receives Life Saver Award

A Wagoner County deputy is getting recognized for helping a man who accidentally shot himself in the leg.

Deputy Dillon Street received the Life Saver Award.

Deputy Street applied a tourniquet to the victim's leg and treated the wound until medics arrived on the scene.

The victim told the deputy he was installing a magnetic weapon holster on the kick panel of his jeep and wanted to "dry fire" his pistol before storing it.
