The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said a teenager from Crowder, OK, died after a crash in Pittsburg County on Sunday.

The OHP said Ethan Dewayne Brooks, 18, was pronounced dead at the McAlester Regional Hospital due to internal injuries.

Troopers said Brooks was driving a 2018 Polaris Ranger on an ATV trail when he lost control while going around a curve too fast. Troopers said the vehicle flipped one time and both occupants were ejected.

Authorities said the other occupant, 18-year-old Gauge Lowell Parker, refused treatment at the scene for his minor injuries.
