Broken Arrow Woman Sentenced To 40 Years For Daughter's Death

A Broken Arrow mother receives a 40-year sentence for her three-year-old daughter's death.

Prosecutors said Kelsey Seaman and her husband Glen adopted Faith in 2018, after fostering her for eight months.

Wagoner County Deputies said Faith didn't have a pulse when emergency crews responded to the home in November 2019.

Kelsey Seaman was originally charged with murder, but she pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of manslaughter for the little girl's death.

She also pleaded no contest to child neglect and received a 15-year sentence, which she will serve after her 25-year manslaughter sentence.

Glen Seaman is scheduled to be back in court next month.

He's charged with enabling child abuse.
