Chilly Sunday Morning Is Likely Last Gasp Of Cold Weather This Week

Sunday was our last morning in the 20s for quite some time because we’ll have spring-like weather starting Monday.

The warmup will be gradual. Most of Green Country will be in the 50s for afternoon highs Sunday.

According to News On 6 Meteorologist Megan Gold, a ridge built on top of the state will be the reason for our warmer air and above average temperatures this week.

The high temperature in Tulsa will be in the mid-60s Monday, but the highs will jump into the 70s Tuesday through Friday.
