University of Tulsa head basketball coach Frank Haith announced his resignation on Saturday after coaching the Golden Hurricane for eight seasons.
"I have enjoyed my time at The University of Tulsa and coaching the many young men who have made us proud as student-athletes and as they have gone on to live their lives after college," said Haith in the announcement on the University of Tulsa website, "My family and I will cherish the memories we have made here at the university and in the community."
According to the school, Haith finished second in the school's all-time coaching wins list with an overall record of 139-108. Haith took over for the Golden Hurricane before the 14-15 season and led his first two teams to the postseason, playing in the NIT in 14-15 and the First Four of the NCAA Championship the following season. He was named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year for the 2019-2020 season before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
