Sand Spring Police Arrest Man Accused Of Stealing Ex-Girlfriend's Dog

Sand Springs police have arrested a man accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend's apartment and stealing her dog.

According to police, the victim called 911 on Friday after Brandon Taff broke down her apartment door near West 11th Street and 81st West Avenue.

Police say Taff and the victim got in a fight and Taff got a cut behind his left ear.

Officers say Taff fled from the scene with the victim's Pitbull, but police found both nearby.

Taff was taken to the hospital to get his cut treated and was then booked for burglary, knowingly concealing stolen property and a warrant out of Garfield County.

The dog was returned to the owner.
