OHP: Tahlequah Woman Killed After Crash In McIntosh County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said a 66-year-old Tahlequah woman died at a Tulsa hospital just over two days after crashing in McIntosh County on Friday.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said a 66-year-old Tahlequah woman died at a Tulsa hospital just over two days after crashing in McIntosh County on Friday.

The OHP said Carolyn Castillo was pronounced dead Sunday afternoon.

Troopers said the crash happened Friday afternoon on I-40 westbound about 15 miles west of Checotah.

Castillo was taken to the hospital in critical condition with head, chest, arm and leg injuries.

The cause of the crash has not been released and the OHP said no other vehicles were involved.
