Tulsa Police Investigating After Child Hit By Gunfire During Drive-By Shooting

Tulsa Police are investigating after they say a young child was shot in a drive-by shooting.

Police said it happened around 8 p.m. near 56th Street North and Peoria.

Officers said they think someone was shooting out of a vehicle and hit the child, a house and a car.

"We're currently gathering as much information as we can to get a really good description," said Cpt. Jeremy Noland with the TPD. "We believe it's probably a white SUV at this point."

Police said the child went to the hospital and should be OK.
