Collinsville Police arrested a man and woman who they said were caught breaking into storage units.
Police said it may have been an inside job.
Collinsville Police said they found out about the burglary because an off-duty Rogers County deputy was driving by, and saw sparks flying.
Police said that deputy gave them a call, suspecting someone was cutting locks at Access Storage, near Highway 169.
When officers got there Thursday night, they said Charles Clay was cutting locks, and Ariana Breivik was following him in a car with the trunk popped open, with tools typically used for burglaries inside.
Police said the locks on eight units were cut, and now Clay and Breivik are in the Tulsa County Jail.
Collinsville Chief Matthew Burke said a detective is investigating whether a customer gave the two suspects a code to get past the business's gate.
"We do know the door code was complex enough that you aren't gonna guess the code. It's not something, there were no false attempts. That's one thing we look at is if people was button mashing, but they got the code on the first try, so they had to have had the code,” Burke said.
Police said they are working to contact the people who use the storage units that were broken into, to confirm whether anything was stolen.
