Archeologists working at Oaklawn Cemetery to search for victims of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre said they found more unmarked burials on Tuesday.
The City of Tulsa announced two were adult sized and two were burials for children. This is in addition to the 17 burials found Friday and Saturday.
Archaeologists continued to work in both the southern and western "blocks," or pits.
In the southern block, which is south of where a man with multiple gunshot wounds was found last summer, the team is digging closer to the nearby tree.
Crews cut down a few branches Tuesday in what appeared to be an effort to make room for the heavy equipment.
Meanwhile in the pit to the west of last summer's work, the city said archeologists are considering exhuming two of the 12 burials discovered there.
Archeologists said they do not believe either pit they are working in contains a mass grave.
