A local restaurant is giving back to the community by temporarily slashing prices to what they were when the business first opened.

Stutts House of Barbeque near Apache and North Lewis opened 30 years ago Sunday, March 5.

The owner says the price cuts are her way of thanking customers for all their years of support.

The price rollbacks come at a time when both customers and restaurants are dealing with inflation.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics says the cost of eating at restaurants rose 8.1 percent over the last year.
