Hillcrest Hospital In Cushing Gets Remote Control Cars To Take Kids To Surgery

The Hillcrest Hospital in Cushing is helping make surgery a little less scary for children.

The hospital now has two remote-controlled cars that kids can drive from their room to surgery.

The Cushing Regional Hospital Foundation donated the cars to the surgery department in February.

Hospital workers can control the cars for smaller children but the older kids can drive themselves.

The hospital says it has already seen the impact they have has on kids, helping them and their parents feel better before surgery.
