Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum is proposing a $772-million bond and sales tax package for city improvements.
The new "Improve Our Tulsa" proposal would include $280 million for street projects. It includes $250 million to repair city facilities, like the police and fire headquarters, the PAC, parks and the Tulsa Zoo.
$150-million would go toward upgrading the city's fleet of vehicles and $90 million would be used for new housing.
"Do all of that and more without raising taxes by just continuing our current rate of taxation for four more years," said Mayor Bynum.
The city plans to hold the election in August or 2023.
