Spring is in the air and to celebrate, Woodward Park is hosting its annual Springfest for outdoor and garden lovers alike.
The festival is the longest running garden market in the state. From macramé to yard art and all types of plants for your garden, around 70 vendors are set up throughout the park. This is the 68th annual Springfest at Woodward Park, a tradition celebrating the season and all that blooms with it.
People strolled through the park with wagons soaking up the sunshine and shopping for plants and garden accessories. At the two-day long festival, you can learn some garden tips and purchase additions to your landscape or even a house plant. You'll also find wall art, metal art, and tool information.
Communications Manager Briana Hefley-Shepard said proceeds go towards the beautification of Woodward Park and educational programs.
"Woodward Park is 45 acres of natural space in the middle of Tulsa, and it's a longstanding, beloved place that we want to keep available and beautiful for as long as we can. And we want to continue to educate further educations,” Hefley-Shepard said.
She said you can enter off 21st on Woodward Drive or off Peoria on Woodward Boulevard. Springfest is on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
