Woman Looks For Good Samaritan Who Returned Her Wallet

A woman is looking to track down the Good Samaritan who returned her wallet.

Elli Delgado was waiting tables in the middle of a busy lunch rush at work when she got a phone call from her dad, asking if she knew that she was missing something.

She did not know what he was talking about, but he informed her that he had her wallet.

A man in a white tow truck dropped off the wallet at her dad's front door, using the address on her driver’s license.

Delgado thinks she either dropped it in the parking lot of where she works or at her apartment complex, which is 25 minutes away from her dad's house.

Everything, including credit cards and her ID, were there when she got it back in her possession.

"Nothing was used,” Delgado said. “The fact that somebody found something so important and chose kindness with me is just amazing."

She doesn't know the man who returned her wallet, but she would like the opportunity to thank him because he saved her from a whole lot of stress.

"I don't know him, he doesn't know me,” Delgado said. “I know it seems like such a small kindness, but it isn't because I am a hardworking 23-year-old and out of everybody that could have picked up that wallet, I am so thankful it was him because it could've changed my life."

But it did change her life. because it inspired her to show the same kindness to others.

"This example restores even just a little bit of humanity enough for me to consciously think about being kind to other people every single day,” Delgado said.

She hopes to find him so she can properly thank him.
