1 Injured, Police Officer Released From Hospital Following Crash At Sapulpa Intersection

A Sapulpa Police officer is released from the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash at an intersection Wednesday morning.

Officers tell News On 6 that the police cruiser was driving southbound on New Sapulpa Road when it went through the intersection at W. 81st St. and got hit by a pickup truck.

They say that caused the cruiser to then crash head-on into a mini van.

The officer went to the hospital in the morning with non-life threatening injuries and was released around noon, authorities say.

The unidentified officer suffered a broken foot and a concussion, according to police.

The pickup truck driver was ejected and taken to the hospital. No word on those injuries at this time.

Police say no one in the van suffered injuries.

Police are still investigating exactly who is at fault.
