Loved ones say Andrew Berryman had a big personality centered around cars.

An Audi R8 was parked outside of the church where Berryman’s funeral services were held on Tuesday morning. People stopped to write messages on the car in his honor.

“I guess it’s hard to put in words just the amount of love everyone had for Andrew,” said Rayshawna Swalley, a friend and former boss of Berryman.

Berryman’s boss owns the car, and said he just decided to write a message on it. Many others followed with their own words.

Ivan Nabeleont said Berryman was one of the first people he became friends with when moving to the United States. They shared a bond over cars.

“He was my first American friend,” said Nabeleont. “He helped me a lot."

Others who knew Berryman said he had a big heart and was always interested in finding someone to strike up a conversation with.

Andrew’s dad said his son lived by the words “Do Better.”

Anyone else interested in leaving a message on the car can find it parked outside of Fantasy Garage for the rest of the week.
