Edison High School Band Selling Fireworks Again After Stand Destroyed In Storm

The Edison High School band is selling fireworks again after the weekend storm destroyed their stand.

The band pays for most of its marching season costs by selling fireworks each year. The band director says they have spent the past few days getting a new tent set up and replacing their damaged fireworks.

"We basically had to take all the damaged stuff and put it in the back and take note of it so that the company could mark it down and cover it for us," said Band Director Doug Styers.

The fireworks stand is located at 101st and Memorial in Bixby and is open until 10 p.m. every evening through the 4th of July.
