Current or aspiring entrepreneurs are coming together this week to help grow support for the industry. It’s all happening at 36 Degrees North.
People can learn what’s keeping Tulsa’s entrepreneurship space thriving and how they can get involved. This year’s theme is "Removing Barriers and Empowering All."
During Global Entrepreneurship Week, also known as GEW, people can create their own schedule with more than 30 events to choose from.
Some of those events range from how to market to customers, to working with attorneys to establish your business.
Leaders said they’re also creating an environment to help first time entrepreneurs.
Devon Laney is the President and CEO of 36 Degrees North and said he hopes people leave with knowledge on how to navigate the different challenges of the industry.
"Understanding your customers, what it’s like to build a business plan, what it’s like to really think about starting and growing a business. And then you get to hear from other people that are either doing it or have done it. And there is something about it that makes it really valuable for people," Laney said.
36 Degrees North expects nearly 500 people to attend these events throughout the week. CLICK HERE for more information.
