Communities across Green Country will be lining up this weekend for Christmas parades. Six In The Morning Weekend Anchor Kristen Weaver shared details on where you can go to enjoy the sights.
The Tulsa Christmas Parade is happening downtown on Saturday, Dec. 9. It starts at 11 a.m.
There will be dozens of floats, shows, and even Santa himself. Several News On 6 folks will be in it, so make sure to say hi if you see them! A map of the event can be found here.
The Claremore Christmas parade is also on Saturday, but it is at night. It starts at 6 p.m. on Dec. 9.
The theme for this year's parade is "All Aboard the Claremore Express," which organizers said is a nod to Claremore's rich railroad history.
In Owasso, they'll be kicking off their Christmas parade Saturday morning at 9 a.m. on Dec. 9. The parade begins at the Smith Farm Marketplace.
Collinsville is doing both a parade and a pop up market this weekend. It's on Saturday, Dec. 9, all day in their downtown area.
The day wraps up with the Collinsville light-up Christmas parade, which begins at 6 p.m.
The Rotary Club of Bixby is organizing the parade there this weekend. It's the 20th year for the parade.
This year's theme is Christmas in Toyland. The parade begins at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9.
In the Catoosa area, they are doing their 58th annual Christmas parade Saturday afternoon, Dec. 9. It begins at 2 p.m.
The parade starts at Denbo and Cherokee Street and ends at the Catoosa School Activity Center.
