Child Reunited With Family After Found By Tulsa Police

Tulsa Police have reunited a child with his family on Friday.

Officers shared photos of the boy they found wandering near the Cobblestone and Wimbledon apartments near 51st and Memorial.

They updated their post with the following:

UPDATE -- CHILD REUNITED WITH HIS FAMILY

Thanks to our Facebook post and all of your comments and shares, Officers were able to find the boy's father.

The dad said he's a single parent who works nights and forgot to latch the door. His son managed to get out while he was sleeping.  The dad said when he woke up, he saw a text about our post and immediately found a nearby Officer who had his son in the backseat.

This appears to be an honest mistake, and we're glad we could help reunite the boy with his dad.
