Chick-fil-A held a meeting Wednesday night to answer questions from people concerned about a planned location in Tulsa's Brookside area.
The restaurant chain has filed an application with the Tulsa Planning Office to build near 41st and Peoria.
Some of the people who live in the area say they're worried about traffic.
“I think this is just a horrible safety issue just waiting to happen,” said Stephen Pyles, a Brookside resident. “Dogs, cats, squirrels, homeless people, kids. People that are wanting to take a nice little stroll through the neighborhood are not going to do it anymore.”
“You know, like Raising Cane's, they put a nice flashing light. I hope Chick-fil-A will do the same. You know, cause we do want it a walking village,” Rob Aloisio, owner of Mondo’s Italian Restaurant, said.
Rob also said he welcomes Chick-fil-A to Brookside.
