Man 'Gravely Injured' After Being Shot Several Times; Weather Impacts Investigation

A man has been shot multiple times in Tulsa on Thursday, police say.

Tulsa Police say they were called around 8:40 p.m. to Pine and Utica by a passerby who spotted the man with several gunshots to his head and stomach.

Officers say an ambulance rushed the man to the hospital and immediately into surgery. Police say he was "gravely injured, but conscious" when he got into the ambulance.

"Everybody that called us rolled up on this individual who was in the middle of the street. I don't know if he was walking down the street or pushed out of a car. That's speculation at this point," said Matt Arnold with Tulsa Police.

Tulsa Police say they don't have any suspect information and they had to process the crime scene fairly quickly due to the rain that moved in Thursday night, so they could preserve as much evidence as possible.
