Man Accused Of Threatening Hotel Staff With Knife Arrested In Tulsa

Tulsa Police arrested a man they said threatened OYO motel staff with a large butcher knife.

Officers arrested Branden Kelley around 9 p.m. on Friday at the motel for assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.

Police said someone called 911 around 6:30 saying Kelley charged at the staff with a knife.

They said Kelley refused to come out of his room when they arrived at the scene, leading to a standoff.

Officers later broke a window and arrested Kelley, who they said was just sitting in the room.

He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail.
