Cherokee Nation Veterans Visit DC, Memorials For 11th Warrior Flight

As part of the Cherokee Nation's 11th Warrior Flight, eight Cherokee veterans are in Washington D.C. this week.

They served in Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War Era, Iraq, the War on Terro, Desert Storm and Lebanon.

They visited the Arlington National Cemetary on Wednesday and saw the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier.

The group also visited the World War I and II memorials, the Vietnam Memorial, the Korean Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial.

They return to Tulsa on Thursday.
