Kevin Wilson Reviews Win At La. Tech, Previews Game At North Texas

Tulsa beat Louisiana Tech 23-20 last Saturday night to even up the record for the Golden Hurricane at 2-2.

It was a physical and fast performance from the Tulsa defense that finished the night with five sacks and multiple turnovers.

Myles Jackson smoked Louisiana Tech quarterback Evan Bullock from behind after beating the offensive tackle on the opening possession of overtime forcing a fumble. 

Owen Ostroski picked up the ball and sprinted 64 yards before he was ruled out at the 1-yard line. Ostroski's forearm hit the pylon before the ball crossed the goal line. Kevin Wilson and the Tulsa offense finished off the game by lining up at the Louisiana Tech 25 and four plays later Seth Morgan kicked the game-winner.

Morgan was named Co-Special Teams Player of the Week in the AAC for his efforts.
