Oklahoma Motion Picture Alliance Hosts Workshop On Film Incentives

The Oklahoma Motion Picture Alliance (OKMPA) is set to host an informative workshop titled "Oklahoma Advantage: Navigating Film Incentives." This event aims to guide filmmakers on effectively leveraging the state's diverse incentive programs, crucial for securing financing and enhancing production budgets.

The panel discussion will feature a lineup of industry experts, including:

1. Jeanette Stanton: Director of the Oklahoma Film + Music Office
2. Jill Simpson: Executive Director of the OKC Film & Creative Industries Office
3. Jen Loren: Senior Director of Cherokee Film
4. Jenn Ross: Oklahoma Key Production Accountant/Rebate Consultant

The session will be moderated by Talia Bella, Partner/Producer at Rebellium Films. Participants can expect a comprehensive exploration of the application and submission processes, as well as an in-depth understanding of the various incentives available at the state, city, and tribal levels. The workshop will also address best practices and common pitfalls to avoid.
