One person has been arrested in connection with the string of racist vandalism in Oklahoma City and Norman.
Allison Johnson, 45, has been booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center on a complaint of Terroristic Threatening.
Thursday afternoon, the Norman Police Department confirmed that Johnson walked into the lobby and asked to speak with investigators.
She is accused of vandalizing multiple buildings with racist and anti-Semitic graffiti in at least five locations.
One week ago, Johnson allegedly targeted the Oklahoma County Democratic Headquarters and Chicksaw Nation. Early Wednesday, April 3, more racist graffiti was found at the Cleveland County Democratic Headquarters, Firehouse Art Center and McKinley Elementary School.
Police officers from Oklahoma City and Norman used surveillance images and worked with the FBI as they searched for the suspect.
"The public sharing this message, and getting this information out there. There was some pressure on this individual to come forwar and accept responsibility for the actions," said Sarah Jensen of the Norman Police Department.
