A bald eagle landed on a fire department truck during a tribute on the 17th anniversary of 9/11. Fire Chief Jerry Streich of the Andover, Minnesota Fire Department went live on Facebook to describe the event.

"Look what landed on top of the aerial on 9/11," Chief Streich said, referring to the department's aerial truck.

"Isn't that unbelievable?" he said.

"This eagle just landed on the aerial while we doing the 9/11 memorial. Phenomenal. We’re all set up here, so nobody forgets."

After perching on the equipment for a short time, the eagle flew off. The video quickly went viral with over 722,000 views in the first few hours.
