The Down Syndrome Association of Tulsa is rebuilding after an embezzlement scandal involving their board president.

This week a warrant was issued for Jamie Harper's arrest. While the Down Syndrome Association of Tulsa works to restore confidence among supporters, they have also restructured their accounting to make it doesn't happen again.
"Nothing really changes for us because we've been dealing with this for the last couple of years, so we are going to continue to grow the organization. Our main mission is to assist people with down syndrome in the community and their families, and we're going to keep doing our mission," said Luke Strawn of the Down Syndrome Association of Tulsa.
The group's largest fundraiser, the Buddy Walk, is at Holland Hall in September.
