Lapse Of Attention Blamed For Crash On Tulsa Highway

A lack of attention is being blamed for an injury crash on a Tulsa highway.

Around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018, first responders were called to an injury crash in the northbound lanes of Highway 75 at 41st Street South.

Tulsa Police say the driver of a pickup apparently had cruise control on and wasn’t paying attention when he rammed into a box truck.

Officers said the pickup went off the road and up an embankment before it stopped.

The driver was taken to the hospital with leg injuries.

Police said the box truck never left the road and that the driver was not injured.

Tulsa Police said the driver of the pickup truck will be cited.
