A Tulsa officer's home was destroyed in a fire Thursday morning.
Tulsa Police Department Officer Amley "Popsey" Floyd posted photos of the damage and said he was thankful his family was safe in a Facebook post.
"First off I want to thank God that material things can be replaced. Second I want to say thank you to the Tulsa Fire Dept for the awesome Job they did for my family today," he said in the post.
"It's never a good time for your house to catch on fire, but life goes on. Still blessed," Floyd said.
