A Tulsa man is in custody after police say he robbed a bank then waited for police to arrive.

Tulsa Police responded to the Tulsa Federal Credit Union in the 4000 block of East 4th Street around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017.

Police tell News On 6 a man handed an employee a note saying he had a gun and was robbing the bank.

The alarm went off and police said the man waited outside for police. Officers said the man told them he was tired of being homeless and wanted to go back to jail.

The man’s name has not been released.

No one was hurt.
