Former Hillcrest Nurse Tech Gets 6 Years For Sexually Assaulting Patient

A former Hillcrest nurse tech pleaded guilty to sexual battery and indecent exposure involving a patient. Lareme Pinkston was sentenced to six years in prison. Court records say Pinkston sexually assaulted the patient and that he was caught by coworkers.

Pinkston told officers he knew what he had done was wrong but didn't think he should go to jail.

He will have to register as a sex offender when he gets out of prison.
