Police are looking for two people in connection with Tulsa's 45th homicide of 2017.
Sgt. Dave Walker says they've identified Eric Lopez as a person of interest in a fatal shooting of an 18-year-old man at the Addison Apartments late Thursday.
He says they also want to question Jose Manuel, who police say owned the gun and was a witness to the shooting.
Officers responded to the apartment complex in the 10100 block of East Admiral at about 9:30 p.m. They arrived to find the victim dead lying on the ground. They found another person who'd been shot and EMSA took that person to the hospital.
Sgt. Walker says they've learned the victim and a friend arrived at the complex and got involved in an altercation with the suspects. Following that altercation, he says both the victims and the suspects left.
Sgt. Walker says the suspects then returned and went inside an apartment and got a handgun. He says when the victim and his friend returned, they drove past the suspects who standing in the parking lot.
Sgt. Walker says according to the victim's friends, something was said and the victim's car stopped.
He says as the victim got out of the car, the suspects fired at the car.
Sgt. Walker says the victim died at the scene trying to flee the gunfire. He says the person of interest and the witness then ran from the complex.

The names of the victims have not been released.
