Antique and artist malls give small vendors a chance at a storefront location, but what if everything on sale had to be from recycled materials or upcycled?
Salvaged Nuggets is just such a place, and it just opened. The idea is to take something old and give them a new life.
"There's not gonna be anything in here that didn't have a previous life," Brynnon Estes said.
Estes has been operating the Salvaged Nuggets idea out of her house for a long time.
"I have been personally Salvaged Nuggets for about a decade," she said.
Now the storefront is providing space for other artists like herself.
They sell anything from bracelets made from bits and pieces of other broken or discarded jewelry to an old drawer that is now a dog bed.
There’s art for sale, and next door there’s room for crafts and family activities, even birthday parties.
Salvaged Nuggets is open Monday thru Saturday, at 2818 East 15th Street in Tulsa. You can find more information here.
