The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma says a former Turley pastor, Ronald Robinson, 62, has entered a guilty plea on a federal child pornography charge.
In a petition filed with the court, Robinson admitted to knowingly accessing "visual depiction of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct."
The petition goes on to say after reviewing with the government's written plea offer, Robinson decided to plead guilty and waive his right to a jury trial.
Robinson was one of two Tulsa County men arrested during a federal undercover sting.
The other man arrested and charged was Jeffrey Goss, a former homeschool group principal.
According to the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office, when Homeland Security Investigators and sheriff’s deputies served search warrants on two of Robinson's homes, they found electronic devices with evidence that Robinson received child exploitation material online.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Robinson faces a maximum sentence of 20 years and a $250,000 fine. Sentencing for Robinson is scheduled for August 10,2017.
