Signs of support are showing up around Tulsa for Police Officer Betty Shelby. The signs popped up overnight on Tulsa's highways showing support including the routes going into downtown - in fact prospective jurors likely would have seen them on their way to the courthouse.
The signs says Tulsa stands with Betty Shelby and a website - Tulsapoliceshooting.com. They website lists out some of the timeline of the shooting of Terrence Crutcher. It also says the people behind the signs and the website want to remain anonymous because of threats over their support for Officer Shelby.
The signs are going up just as jury selection is beginning for the Shelby trial and no doubt we'll see more signs of support, for Terence Crutcher, for the police in general and Shelby in particular as this trial advances.
